The Stover Legacy Foundation originated in 2022 by a grandmother with her grand-daughters and a BIG dream to share the gift of love and the importance of education with her family and the community.
Gloria, a daughter of 9 children, had to sacrifice her education to work to take care of her siblings. She often dreamed of going to college and had to put her educational dreams on hold after having 4 children of her own. She never gave up on her dreams and often lived vicariously through her children and encouraged them to be great and to further their education. This encouragement was instilled into her family through each generation. From her inspiring words and the seeds that she has planted, teachers, mechanical engineers, business professionals, lawyers, and doctors were born.
The Stover Legacy Foundation was created to provide hope for minority students who desire to further their education by offering scholarship opportunities, professional programming, and community outreach initiatives.
The Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization.
